I'm your outgoing, adventure-loving elopement and wedding photographer, and I can't wait to get to know you and tell your story. We'll probably get along if you feel alive exploring new places, getting outdoors, and having fun with your partner!
From 16 year old’s going to the movies on a first date to sharing vows to love each other through everything, Cassidy and Cameron’s love story really does have it all. The first time I met Cassidy, she told me that she’s known since she was 16 that she was going to marry Cameron. And here we finally are🥹
From highschool sweethearts, 5 patient years of long distance and nursing school for Cassidy and growing up together, all lead to owning a home together, becoming loving parents to their sweet golden retriever Stanley, and their very own ‘funny farm’, complete with an absolutely reasonable number of chickens. To finally, the wedding day of their dreams at Homestead 1880.
This long-awaited wedding day began for the girls in the original 145 year old farmhouse on the property, where hair and makeup was done, mimosas were sipped, and Cassidy’s DIY-touches were the highlight of the decor.
The men spent the morning getting ready together at a groomsman’s house, and and of course enjoying their morning before the wedding craziness began.
The ceremony space, adorned with blooming flowers in every colour, offered resplendent views of fall colours and corn fields in all directions. I don’t think there was a dry eye on the property as Cassidy walked down the aisle, arm and arm with her dad, to her future-husband Cameron.
The couple exchanged meaningful vows to each other, promising to always show up for each other however they need, to love each other for the rest of their days, and to always say yes to having more chickens.
What followed was a bustling cocktail hour spent with their dear wedding party and loved ones, socializing with all of their guests that had come from around the province to celebrate them, and enjoying one of the most mouthwatering charcuterie boards I’ve ever seen! And what really set everything over the top? Just about every detail of Cassidy and Cameron’s reception decor was done by them! From hand-placing pearls and designing and printing stationary, to Cameron building a whole wall(!) to display their custom mirror seating chart, it was all beyond impressive.
After a BBQ dinner, we were treated to the most stunning golden hour over the soybean fields, and of course had to take Cassidy and Cameron back out to show off their love in the setting sun (and yes, of course it was worth sitting in the dusty field for the photos)
A lively reception dance party closed off the night, and was the best way to celebrate Cassidy and Cameron’s relationship. I had so much fun documenting every part of their special day, and wish them a lifetime of happiness.
