I firmly believe that your wedding day should not feel like a photoshoot - because it really isn't. The day is not about me, so I will never take over or take away from your genuine intimate moments on your wedding day. I prioritize a storytelling style in my work, which means I aim to capture all the details of the day that transpire naturally. When it comes to traditional wedding shots (like getting your dress on, family and newlywed photos, etc.), I take on a directing and prompting role to achieve the photos that you're envisioning without faking any moments

I'm lucky enough that I've photographed hundreds of weddings and elopements, so I am here to help with it all! In addition to comprehensive Zoom planning calls, I send out my 36 page Wedding Planning Guide that goes over every question you have, from timelines to shot lists, to money saving tips and vendor recommendations. I also send out a detailed Wedding Planning Questionnaire and a Timeline Creation Questionnaire so I can draft up a photography timeline for your big day. In addition, I offer unlimited consultations if you ever need any help leading up to your big day
How do you help with the planning?

Heck yeah they are! I include complimentary 1.5 hour engagement sessions in all of my wedding packages. This is a great opportunity not only for you to have photos to use for your invites and wedding website, but also for us to get to know each other before your wedding day. Engagement galleries include roughly 60-90 digital images and are always SO much fun! You'll also receive my Engagement Planning Guide and questionnaire prior to your session

In addition to your entire digital engagement gallery, after your wedding you can expect a 48 hour sneak peek gallery, you'll receive your entire wedding gallery that includes a minimum of 50 photos/hour within 6 weeks of your wedding date. Your gallery contains high-res and web-sized images which you are free to print wherever you like. You'll also receive an engraved USB with your entire wedding gallery, delivered to your door in a luxury heirloom wedding box that has your and your fiances names engraved on the top

How much experience do you have photographing weddings?

Yes, and no. I totally get feeling camera shy - I'm never a fan of having my pictures taken. I absolutely take the lead when it comes to prompting you for your photos, and make sure to always give you direction to look and feel good. That said, my style is very documentary heavy and I focus on authentic moments. This means I'll do more directing like a movie than posing you. I'll have you spend a moment together sharing what you love most about each other, and capture all of those authentic smiles and intimate moments

I always give you direction to look and feel good when needed. I'll do more directing like a movie than posing you, which makes for an enjoyable experience AND amazing photos. I'll tell you a secret: every single person you see in my photos thought 'I'm not a model', and yet they look AMAZING. It's my job to make you look good, you're just there to be in the moment and have a great time :)
