I'm an outdoorsy person through and through: I'll just never get sick of how crazy beautiful this world is, and how fricken good the outdoors smells LOL
When I'm not documenting love stories, you can find me planning hypothetical trips to just about anywhere in the world. My current interest is Nicaragua! I'm definitely more of a traveller than a vacationer - if I don't need 2 days of sleep to recover from a trip, I didn't do it right
I love the outdoors and will always be down to wake up before sunrise to climb a mountain (or a frozen waterfall), even though I am definitely NOT a morning person
I'm also a huge music lover and need to have it playing constantly!

Documentary photography has become a buzz word on social media, but what it really means is me, your photographer, taking a step back and allowing your day to happen as it naturally does, instead of directing it. When it comes to couples photos and family photos, I do step in to give direction in the form of prompts, but other parts of the day I let happen as they will.
What does 'documentary style' photography mean?

I don't consider myself JUST your photographer. A lot of my couples don't work with wedding planners, so I'm there to help with the things you don't know you don't know. My Wedding Planning Guide goes over everything from parts of the day to think about (first look, unplugged ceremony, etc.), sample timelines, money saving tips, and vendor recommendations. I also work with you to help create your timeline. Beyond that, I'm here to answer any questions you might have throughout the entire process

My wedding dates fill up fast, so I recommend booking me as your photographer as soon as you decide you want me. It's not uncommon for couples to book 1-2 years out from their wedding. I am currently booking until the end of 2025. I can not hold your date without a signed contract and paid retainer fee - it is first come first serve

Yes, and no. I totally get feeling camera shy - I'm never a fan of having my pictures taken. I absolutely take the lead when it comes to prompting you for your photos, and make sure to always give you direction to look and feel good. That said, my style is very documentary heavy and I focus on authentic moments. This means I'll do more directing like a movie than posing you. I'll have you go on a romantic walk on the beach and tell each other what you love most about each other, and you'll come out with gorgeous elopement photos of it all!

I always give you direction to look and feel good when needed. I'll do more directing like a movie than posing you, which makes for an enjoyable experience AND amazing photos. I'll tell you a secret: every single person you see in my photos thought 'I'm not a model', and yet they look AMAZING. It's my job to make you look good, you're just there to be in the moment and have a great time :)
